Tracey's Bella Challenge

As you all know I love these Bella images, I do not think I need to ever say that again. What better way to celebrate my new images then to do a challenge with them. Below are the new images I got during my last order. Let's all hope that mine cards stick out of the crowd and get picked. *fingers and toes are crossed*

Thanks again Tracey for this wonderful opportunity! I had fun playing.

I believe Tracey will be picking the winner sometime Sunday morning. Let's all hope I win..... lol

Like I didn't know that!!

Allison had this on her blog and I just had to walk down memory lane. I totally knew which one was going to show up. Anyway this was fun.

Great Time at ScrapBook Camp

I had a wonderful time this past weekend when I went up to Payson, AZ to a scrapbook camp. I got about 12 pages done. Well yes I agree 12 pages is not a lot however I also go for the social aspect of it also. I am sure all of you out there that have young ones know what I mean. Well our wireless Internet went down last week so I have not had Internet access from my computer in a long time. So I have to fight for time on my husbands computer. So I will post more later. I have to complete an A*muse ATC swap I am in and I need to create more for the Bella Challenge.

Until then happy creating!!!

Belle Challenge!!! Oh how I would love to win.

I actually found a Bella sketch challenge. I really want the new billboardbella however I just got my veggiebella order. Since these little cuties come from Canada they take forever to get them. Nothing like wanting them now and waiting 3 weeks. That is just how snail mail works I know it is not Emily's doing. If she could deliver them herself I am sure she would. She is just a sweet lady. Check out her blog. (if you haven't already) Side note Emily just posted and there is a Huggybella. Oh my goodness I need to win this challenge. LOL

Anyway focus.........

OK I want to post the card I submitted for the challenge. I will be making more. (I know it!)

She is just so cute. I hope you like.
I am off to a scrapbook camp for the weekend. I will be posting more of this sketch later. Oh and I guess I could give details on where you could join the challenge also......... maybe.
Just kidding Tracey. Check out Tracey's blog challenge here.

MIA - Sorry

I have been missing in action ever since I returned home from Costa Rica. It has been crazy at my house. We now have company in from out of town. Plus I am trying to catch up with all the mail and all the work that was waiting for my return. I received a Blogger RAK from Amanda that I will post as soon as I get a picture of it. My Internet at home is down for at least 5 days :( so I am quickly posting from work.

If only I had wings, girls!!!

As you all know by now I am in Costa Rica still. Actually I will be leaving soon, I can't wait to see my lovely daughters, who miss me very much. Ok stop typing about this..... tears are coming. Ok so I picked up this stamp "If only I had wings, I would be there with you" from the small stamp store before I left for my trip. I actually bought it to go with my butterflykisses from Papertrey Inc. (Oh they released the next stamp set and of course I have to have it only trying to hold out.) The stamp now actually means something to me now. I am missing my girls, I can't wait to kiss them and tell them I love them!!!
This card was made for the "Lost without LOST" Wednesday Challenge

Recipe:
Size: 4 1/4" square
Stamps: ButterflyKisses, Great Impressions Background stamp "May"
Ink: Certainly Celery, Pixie Pink
Paper: Designer Paper, Garden Green, Whisper White
Other: White Organdy Ribbon, finger sponge

I am a bella junkie

Oh my goodness I can not get enough of these little pretties. I stalk the bloggabella site just waiting for more hints. I can't wait to order the 3 brand new bellas. However I am hoping to post pone just a couple more weeks in hope of a princessbella. Anyway I just had to pull out my beachbella and make her ready to meet her friend kinibella. Emily, please understand I just could not wait to make a polka dot bikini. So of course I have the song "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" on the mind. I had to get all the words because it was driving me crazy while I created my PolkaDotBeachBella. Did you notice her toes?

Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka-dot Bikini
Brian Hyland

She was afraid to come out of the locker
She was as nervous as she could be
She was afraid to come out of the locker
She was afraid that somebody would see
One, two, three, four, tell the people what she wore

[ It was an itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka-dot bikini
That she wore for the first time today.
An itsy bitsy teentie weenie yellow polka-dot bikini ]
So in the locker she wanted to stay.
Two, three, four, stick around we'll tell you more

She was afraid to come out in the open
And so a blanket around she wore
She was afraid to come out in the open
And so she sat bundled up on the shore
Two, three, four, tell the people what she wore
[ repeat ]

So in the blanket she wanted to stay.
Two, three, four, stick around we'll tell you more
Now she is afraid to come out of the water
And I wonder what she's gonna do
Now she is afraid to come out of the water
And the poor little girl's turning blue
Two, three, four, tell the people what she wore
[ repeat ]
So in the water she wanted to stay.
From the locker to the blanket
From the blanket to the shore
From the shore to the water
Yes there isn't any more.
Have fun.... I know I am.

Ling-Ling

I love this little panda. Meadow really loves panda bears. When I saw this stamp I just had to have it. Of course I have had it a long time over 2 months and I have not even inked it once. I am trying to go through all my stamps and ink them for "at least" one card. I actually bought this for Meadow for a birthday gift. However I didn't get it in time.... so does that mean I don't have to give it to her? That is awful!!!! I will let her use it. lol (Just Kidding..... maybe)

I don't know if you can tell but I used stickles in the dots of the background stamp. I didn't have a glitter pen with me in Costa Rica.

Recipe:
Dimensions: standard
Stamps: SU Polka Dot and Paisley, Stampendous Asian Collection Ling-Ling
Paper: SU Whispering White, SU Tempting Turquiose, SU Green Galore
Ink: StazOn Black, SU Craft Whisper White
Other: Ticket Corner, Word Window Punch, White Organdy Ribbon, Star Dust Stickles, Gamsol, Prismacolor pencils (opps I colored this image before I started keeping track of the colors I used.)

UHU Glue Roller ----- Great!!

I ran across this post where you could request a free sample of the UHU Glue Roller. I have been using this roller for most of my cards. WOW I really like it. I am going to submit a comment only on one small thing that would be to have a cover over the exposed tape. That is it! I am actually going to order some refills. It really is easy to use.

A*Muse ATC

I think this is what I am going to submit for one of my ATC I have joined for A*Muse minus the prima I think. However I feel it still needs something. What do you think? If I take off the prima it still needs something? I don't know that prima might be growing on me

So far the recipe is:
Paper: SU Black, SU Very Vanila
Inks: StazOn Black
Other: Slit Punch, Prima flower, rhinestone brad, Ticket Punch, UNH Glue Roller

Life's A Beach

Wow! Look at this bella. I only wish I looked like her. Speaking of this while I was making this card I was watching a documentary on HBO about people that have had bad experiences with plastic surgeries. I my goodness........ I feel so sorry for everyone on this documentary. While putting this ribbon on this card I said to myself “for these people life truly is a *beach.* I wish the best for everyone that has had any issue with any procedure. These doctors really need to be responsible for what they do. Man….. I will think twice before I do anything like that done.

Best Wishes..........

Back to this card. I bought this ribbon just for my beachbella, I can't believe it matches almost perfectly with the Temping Turquoise from SU that was totally not planned. I used the background stamp in the SU Polka Dot and Paisley set I actually go the idea from Kendra however I use it all the time now. I love the affect it gives me. I also used the white gel pen to fill in a couple of the circles to add a little something. I think next time I will use a glitter pen to see that affect.

Dimensions: Standard
Stamps: BeachBella, SU Polka Dot and Paisley
Paper: SU Certainly Celery, SU Temping Turquoise, SU Very Vanilla, SU Marigold Morning, Designer
Ink: SU Tempting Turquoise, SU Black
Accessories: White Organdy Ribbon, Offray Life's a Beach Ribbon, White Unibal Gel Pen, Prismacolor pencils: Carmine Red, Pale Sage, Light peach and Canary Yellow, Gamsol, Stickles

My Little Lady

OK so I am not so good at the documentation of the supplies I use. I really have a hard time even talking about the card. I don't know what it is I am normally I am a very talkative person so to say. Anyway I have an idea while I am creating the card I am going to have a note pad close so I can write down everything that I used to create the card. I know I like when someone does that on their blog. I know when I CASE a card I even sometimes try to use the exact supplies because the card was so cool.

This card sketch I actually found on Beate site that she did for a challenge from Pieces of Me blog. I liked her card so much I thought I would do mine similar to Beate.

So starting with this card here we go:

Dimensions: 4 1/4 square
Stamps: Little Lady
Paper: SU Garden Green, SU Very Vanilla, SU Certainly Celery, Basic Grey Stella Ruby 6x6
Ink: SU Certainly Celery, SU Black
Accessories: Small Scallop Scissors, White Organdy Ribbon, SU Word Window Punch, SU Ticket Corner Punch

I think that is a good start......

Found another Blog Site

Glitter Girl you really have some great creations. I am not just talking about the paper creations. She actually has Twins I believe a total of 4 boys at home!!!! I thought I had my hands full with 2 girls.

Anyway, I was reading her site and came across this totally cool post. Try it out and tell me what year you are from:

You Belong in 1981
Wild, over the top, and just a little bit cheesy. You're colorful at night - and successful during the day.

Thanks Glitter Girl for stopping by.......

This is the Father's day card that I made last night. Since I am "still" in Costa Rica I have very limited supplies so this is what I came up with. I thought this paper was great. This one is actually for my husband I have another one very similar for PaPa actually with the same paper I got from JoAnn's.

last one for a while

This is the last card I have made. I have some extra space to the left of her so I can stamp "Girls Night out" when I get home. However now that I am thinking about it ... it might not stamp right since I have the brown underneath. Well I will think of something. Until later have fun!!

Of course I pulled things out and put them in my carry on.
