What I worked on over the weekend...

I was able to sew with Sandra and my mom this weekend for most of Saturday.  We enjoyed talking and getting a little sewing done.  Before I forget she is having a give away on here blog.  Please check it out

I worked on my Orca Bay quilt from Bonnie Hunter. My goal is to get the top done before she starts her new one this year.  It would be nice to have it quilted also.  However since I have over 23 quilts that need quilted I don't know if that will happen.

So I trimmed some hour glass blocks that were already completed.  Then finished my red strings step.  Or should I say they are all together.  They need to be cut in half and trimmed.  (I really do not like trimming!)

I really tried to keep in mind the color of sunsets while I grabbed the colors.  That is why you see some orange.  I don't know if I am going to like that however it is done.  We will have to wait and see.

Thursday and Friday I cut out my lil' twister that I am working one for my coffee table.  There are so many little pieces I might have to hang it up on the wall.  If my little ones were to spill something I would get upset.  So I shouldn't put it in their path, right?
