Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!

Here is the card I made for Halloween. ..... of course it is a Bella!!

Ride like the wind, Bullseye!

Tracy's Happy Place has a Disney\Hawaii challenge for this month. I really like her blog site. Check it out. So this is what I am submitting to her challenge of course I wait to the last minute. I picked something Disney. Yes I do have Disney stamps since I have to small girls however I didn't want another princess thing. So I decided to do a quote from the movie Toy Story 2. I love that the horse Bullseye and well we all know I love bellas so what a good combination. So I quoted Woody, " Ride like the wind, Bullseye!"

Halloween!!! love it....

I have always loved Halloween. I don't know why however I have always liked this holiday. I remember in High School going out with a bunch of friends just having a great time. That guys were always crazy making me and my friends laugh. In college .... well lets just say the guys and girls were crazy. And being a mom.... well seeing my girls eye light up when we start talking about what we are going to be. That is the best of all.

We are actually going to have a party at our house. Wow it will be the first one in 5 years since Craig and I have had a Halloween party. I am having so much fun decorating the house. I will be sure to post pictures.

This guy is so cute. This was a make and take at one of the booths at the scrapbooking convention I went to last month. This was my first paper piecing with paper. Let me just say working with paper is much better than paper pieces with fabric.

My card rack

My mom goes to all these small stores all over the place. So when I got into card making I asked her to keep her eyes out for a card rack that spins. To my surprise she actually found one at a little store downtown. They were remodeling or something. Anyway she found it, bought it, painted it black and brought it over the same day. She was so excited she actually found it. Me TOO!! She is the BEST!! Thanks Mom.

With Silver Buttons

My girls love this book as soon as I this stamp I thought of ...with Sliver buttons buttons buttons all down here back back back....

I should be getting my other three stamps I orders a while ago from Penny Black. I guess the company had some shipping problems. Hopefully they mailed to the vendor on Friday. We will see.

1st trip out

Here is a picture of the view we saw on our first trip out on the Rubicon. It was a easy trail however it was about 50 miles long. WOW! This girls were over it (I think) 2 miles into it. I think Craig was the one having the most fun. I think I would of had more fun had I not been on call and worried about getting a page out in no mans land. All was well. I could not believe there were crickets all over the place. They were even jumping into the jeep and freaking me out. I tried to keep my cool since the girls were right behind me. However when they land right on you I can help but scream. Now I know where the girls get it from.

Short story we were driving home from Ohio last year and stopped at a rest stop and a fly got in our car. Oh my goodness you would have thought someone was dieing in the car the way my girls were screaming. It was so loud I could only laugh I couldn't even get the fly out. Craig was so over the screaming he was like ... just get the fly out! I couldn't even talk I was laughing so hard...... Was that wrong laughing at my girls freaking out over a fly.... yes however I couldn't help it. Anyway Meadow doesn't like flies at all .... It happen again late last year when we went camping. I did much better then trying to comfort her while we get the 10 or so flies out of the car. I am sure it was like 4 however we just could not get ride of them fast enough. I could only imagine if a cricket landed on her.
