Paisleys

I have decided that I like paisleys. I never really thought I did. However when I signed up with SU I got the Polka Dots and Paisley stamp set free and I just love the paisley in it. Here is my first card with it.

Love the Star Album

I saw this album at my demonstrators house and just had to make one. One lead to 4. I have signed on as a SU demonstrator and have held a class for this album. We did 6 albums in about 3.5 hours. WOW that was tough. Anyway here are some of the ones I have done over the last month. The America one is for my husband and of course I like that one the best.

2nd Make-n-Take

Well this is our 2nd weekend in a row that we have been able to make it to the stamp shop. I now know why they do these "make-n-takes" because it "Makes" you want to "Take" the stamps home also. Do you notice anything? You can guess I wasn't strong this time. This bunny was so cute I just had to give him a home. At least is was "Buy 2 get 1 free"? OK, so it make me feel better.

Big Blossom

I love this Big Blossom stamp from SU. I made this arrangement of flower so I could see the flowers when I came into my craft room. My mom and I went to an open house for Stampin' Up and made these great milk cartons.

1st Make-n-Take

My mom and I went to a stamp store by my house (watch out!) They were having a make-n-take for $1 we decided to do it. WOW did we have fun. We enjoyed it so much that we are going to try to come back every weekend, if time allows. I liked the card so much I wanted to buy everything to make it again. However some how I had a little control.

Thanks Laura (a.k.a Lu-La)

I just wanted to tell Laura thank you for her great blog site. If you haven't been there check it out. This site was one of the firsts I found. I believe I scanned every page. It might have been her name also. I found your post about the One Sheet Wonder and just had to try it. It looked easy and since I am very new in stamping I thought I could handle it. So I wanted to share with you my first OSW. I used the SU Best Blossoms stamp set along with green galore, tempting turquoise, and pixie pink paper and ink.
Thanks again Lu-la, everyone just loved them.

Welcome, Everyone

I am starting my own blog site because it seems like so much fun. I enjoy everyone's blog that I have seen so I decided to share also. This Blog will be a little different then the other stampin blog sites because I have many obsessions. I started out quilting over 10 years ago maybe even eleven now. Then I added 2 beautiful little girls in my life, Trinity and Meadow. Trinity is 3 years old and Meadow is 2 years old. So I started scrapbooking about 3 years ago to document their journeys in life. So that would be number 2 obsession. Last but certainly not the least is stampin. Lets just say that even though I just started stampin I am hooked!! I can't believe all the beautiful things I have seen in just a short amount of time. I have just started stampin this year in January and just can not stop. This is really addicting. So that is how I came up will my site name SSQ Corner. SSQ = Stamp'in Scrap'in Quilt'in

This post I will not go into how my husband feels about this. However I am sure you all know.

Thanks for spending your time here and I look forward to hearing from you.
